I think its important to recognize that filing for bankruptcy which has been the path for some vertical farming companies, does not necessarily mean that these companies have closed operations as you state in your overview. AeroFarms for example is still operating a very large farm in Danville VA and is selling greens in retailers as they always have. Kalera is just emerging from Bankruptcy so TBD how they will proceed.

I agree with your comment, nonetheless it remains not a good sight for the industry as the bankruptcies lead to some investors losing their confidence which then affects the industry especially the new entrants trying to find some capital. That being said, it is a cycle and I expect that within the next 2-3 years there will be an upward trend in the industry again. Thanks for your comment and being a valued reader!
