Due to unsold supply in August, Canadian companies suffered losses of CAD 3 billion. As investors became weary of waiting for federal laws, the total amount of marijuana-related money generated in the United States decreased by 62% since last year, and equity financing decreased by 96%. The cannabis industry appears to be promising but may be too liable to lawmakers, contrary to Hemp.
