Most publicly-traded Indoor Ag companies will be reporting their earnings in November. Opening the season will be companies offering horticulture LED solutions.
Good morning readers, LEDs are used in horticulture/ vertical farming facilities to enhance plant growth and provide plants with their required spectrum. Needless to say, they’ve become prevalent in indoor farming/CEA but recent development in the global market has led several companies to tumble facing increasing costs and lower sales levels.
Companies traded on ENX 0.00%↑ NDAQ 0.00%↑ and other stock markets have reported mixed results but all acknowledged that the current supply chain disruptions have affected their results as well as their full-year guidance.
The current situation in Taiwan, the aftermath of the lockdown imposed throughout the world as well as current raw materials prices sky-rocketing in the face of inflation leads companies to higher costs of goods sold. Some companies had to increase their retail prices leading to a net sales drop while others managed to rethink their supply chain in order to mitigate the potential risks.
Today, we take a look at horticulture LED companies expected to publish their financial results by the end of October/ first week of November.
