FarmByte and Archisen have partnered to establish an automated vertical indoor farm for Asian greens in Johor, Malaysia. This alliance aims to revolutionize the agri-food sector by enhancing food resilience and boosting technological efficiency in farming.
Agrinam Acquisition Corp and Freight Farms plan to merge to promote sustainable, hyper-local food production globally. Freight Farms is a modular controlled environment agriculture leader with diversified offerings, valued at around $147M. The deal is expected to be completed in Q3 2023, potentially transforming sustainable farming.
Ekthaar Agricultural LLC in Dubai has become the first vertical farm to receive the Sustainable Indoor Farming Certification, co-administered by the Association for Vertical Farming and Control Union UK.
